Jewel Toned Living Room
Time for another exciting reveal, and this one is a jewel toned living room with pops of vibrancy and energy. Just like the dining room, this space is unexpected and dynamic.
Before
This living room had a lot going for it. We started with a large space, a fireplace, decent floors, and a lovely plaster ceiling medallion.
While the fireplace was fine, I knew we could do better. We wanted to lean into the French influences of the home’s exterior architecture, but we had to find just the right fireplace surround to make it happen.
Another thing we had to factor into this space was the long and skinny layout of the room. We had to decide if we wanted to chunk the space into different zones or invest in a large custom sectional to sit harmoniously in the space.
THE JEWEL TONED LIVING ROOM PLAN
Ultimately we opted to keep the space open and breezy with a long sectional, a pair of epic chairs, and two sexy coffee tables. Architecturally, we added molding, and a new marble fireplace surround.
AFTER
I feel like the art above the fireplace is thought-provoking and contemporary. I sourced Artstart for the dining room art as well.
Custom Drapes and vintage Deco chairs amp up the glamour.
The hot pink fringed sofa is an attention grabber and really brings a big impact.

It is a custom bound carpet. We went for something that would hold up to the pups.
