Counting my blessings! I’m grateful to have a little time to pull together some Fall dining room decor updates and I’m excited to show you some of the changes
It has been awhile since I’ve posted, and a few things have changed around here. Check out some of the changes that have happened here in the Marlowe home this Fall.
Dining Room
As a former military spouse, it is amazing to me that we have lived here 5 years now. I’m so grateful for the changes we have made along the way, and it blows my mind to think about what the home looked like when we first moved back in 5 years ago.
Since then, we made over our dining room for the Fall 2018 One Room Challenge. We sincerely use this room at least once or twice a week and have made so many memories here. I’m looking forward to this upcoming Thanksgiving/Christmas season.
Dining Room Changes
Ta Da! Here is the current state of our dining room.
NEW CHAIRS
I’d like to draw your attention to the set of ten (eight shown), vintage, orange, Herme’s inspired chairs from originally from Hickory Chair. They are sturdy, comfortable, and provide a nice pop against the blue.
NEW CHANDELIER
With the addition of the new traditional chairs, I didn’t want the space to feel too stufffy, so I opted for a modern chandelier. The Jupiter Pendent from HVLG looks especially great with some after market upgrades (velvet trim).
I like how this piece plays with my oval table.
FALL DINING ROOM DECOR
In addition to new chairs and a new chandelier, I also dressed the table with a Fall tablescape.
There was enough color and pattern in the room already, so I opted for my simple china this time.
I paired simple roses with cat tails and other fall foilage. I layered a variety of pears on the table forr added visual interest.
In the living room I did added these Shangai Peacock Schumacher pillows to tie in the orange from the dining room chairs.
Maximalist Decor Ideas: Bold Wallpaper and Paint
Thanks so much for joining me for updates in our dining room.
Ahhhhh!! I love all the updates Jewel! The chairs are beautiful 🤩
