Jewel Marlowe Holiday Home Tour
Holiday Home Tour
Phew, now that I have wrapped up the BIG REVEAL for the One Room Challenge, I’ve been able to switch my focus towards creating a two-part holiday home tour series. We have lived in this house almost 3 1/2 years now, and it has been such an incredible journey. While things continue to evolve, and I still have a few zones that need my attention (which I will point out), I am feeling relatively settled at this point. It is nice to document where we are in this process, and I hope to inspire you along the way. So without further ado, welcome to our 2021 Holiday Home Tour
Holiday Home Tour- Living Room
I opted to bring the punch this year with pops of vibrant red in our living room. I like the way it plays against the soft blues of the space.
Holiday Tour- Entryway
The next stop on our tour is our is our entryway project, which was one of the first zones accomplished in our home. I have also tackled the small closet to the right. This is a high traffic area for our family, and one zone that I hope to eventually upgrade once I find the right unicorn of a piece to go here.
Holiday Tour- Dining Room
This is our dining room, and it received a new chandelier and Farrow and Ball paint this year. While this feels iconic for our family, I am fighting the urge to go burgundy or red in this zone. It will be interesting to see what 2022 will bring.
Holiday Home Tour- Kitchen
We are grateful for the kitchen makeover that we accomplished about 4 months before the pandemic. To say that this room has been heavily used since then is an understatement.
The eat-in area underwent some minor chances this year with new wicker chairs. They are holding up really well and I love the natural element that they bring to the space.
Holiday Tour- Powder Room
One of my favorite rooms in the house is still our little powder room.
Holiday Tour- Laundry Room
We knocked this one out for the Spring 2021 One Room Challenge.
Holiday Home Tour- Bedroom
We finished this masculine bedroom in February and I am still so in love with how it turned out.
Holiday Tour- Bedroom
I wanted to make the tour more comprehensive for those who are new here so I have included a few other rooms that didn’t get decked out for the holidays. They may not be sporting any trees, wreaths or garlands, but they help tell the story of our unique home.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for joining PART 1 of the two part Holiday Home Tour. Next week I will have another living room, primary bedroom, and girl’s bedroom.
